These Terms and Conditions outline how Nesdoor Staffing Inc. provides staffing and non-medical companionship services to clients. By requesting, booking, or paying for services, the client or authorized representative agrees to the terms below.

1. Services Provided

Nesdoor Staffing Inc. provides staffing and support services to private clients, families, and organizations. Services may include:

  • Non-medical companionship support
  • Friendly visits and social engagement
  • Conversation and emotional support
  • Appointment accompaniment, where requested
  • Community outings and recreational support
  • General non-medical daily routine support
  • Temporary or contract staffing support
  • Recruitment and placement support, where applicable

Services are arranged based on the client’s needs, requested hours, availability, and agreed service schedule.

2. Payment Terms

Payment is made one month in advance based on the client’s requested companionship or staffing hours for that month.

Before services begin, Nesdoor Staffing Inc. will provide an invoice or written payment summary confirming the requested hours, service rate, payment amount, and service period.

Services are scheduled and provided after payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Additional hours requested during the month may be invoiced separately and must be approved by the client or authorized representative before being provided.

Accepted payment methods may include e-transfer, cheque, credit card, bank transfer, or approved online payment platforms.

3. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Clients are asked to provide as much notice as possible for cancellations or schedule changes.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email, text message, or another agreed communication method.

If a scheduled visit or shift is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee may apply.

Unused prepaid hours may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be rescheduled, credited, or refunded depending on the circumstances and the agreed service terms.

Refunds are not guaranteed once services have been scheduled or delivered. Any refund request will be reviewed based on services already provided, staffing commitments made, and administrative costs incurred.

4. Client Responsibilities

The client or authorized representative agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information about service needs and requested hours
  • Provide a safe and respectful environment for staff or companions
  • Share relevant access instructions, emergency contacts, and scheduling details
  • Notify Nesdoor Staffing Inc. of any changes to service needs, location, or schedule
  • Review invoices and service agreements carefully before payment
  • Communicate concerns as soon as possible so they can be addressed

If services are provided in a private home, the client is responsible for ensuring the environment is safe and suitable for non-medical companionship or staffing support.

5. Service Limitations

Nesdoor Staffing Inc. provides non-medical support only, unless otherwise clearly stated in a separate written agreement.

Nesdoor Staffing Inc. does not provide:

  • Medical care
  • Nursing care
  • Medication administration
  • Personal care requiring regulated health professionals
  • Emergency health services
  • Clinical assessments
  • Financial, legal, or medical advice

In an emergency, clients or family members should call 911 or contact the appropriate emergency service provider.

Nesdoor Staffing Inc. reserves the right to refuse, pause, or discontinue services if the service environment is unsafe, if the requested service is outside the scope of non-medical support, or if there is disrespectful, unsafe, or inappropriate conduct toward staff.

6. Confidentiality

Nesdoor Staffing Inc. respects client privacy and confidentiality.

Client information is collected and used only for service delivery, scheduling, invoicing, communication, compliance, and business recordkeeping.

Nesdoor Staffing Inc. will not share personal client information with third parties unless required by law, necessary for service delivery, or authorized by the client or authorized representative.

Clients are also expected to respect the privacy and dignity of staff, companions, and any individuals involved in service delivery.

7. Dispute Resolution

If a concern or dispute arises, clients are encouraged to contact Nesdoor Staffing Inc. as soon as possible so the matter can be reviewed and addressed.

Nesdoor Staffing Inc. will make reasonable efforts to resolve concerns through respectful communication, review of service records, and discussion with the client or authorized representative.

If the matter cannot be resolved informally, both parties may explore further dispute resolution options in accordance with applicable laws in British Columbia.

8. Changes to These Terms

Nesdoor Staffing Inc. may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on the website with a revised effective date.

Continued use of services after updates are posted means the client accepts the updated Terms and Conditions.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Payment is made one month in advance based on requested companionship hours. Cancellations must be provided in writing. Missed or cancelled shifts may be subject to the agreed cancellation terms in the client agreement. Any unused prepaid hours may be reviewed according to the service agreement.
